There is no better time than breakfast to get a zillion healthy nutrients into your diet! Wheatgrass powder has a strong, grass-y taste, but when blended with bananas and coconut milk, it is VERY drinkable!
Recipe type: smoothie
1 Frozen Banana
1 Scoop organic Wheatgrass (I use the Amazing Grass brand)
1 Cup Chocolate Coconut Milk
1 tbs almond butter
Blend all ingredients!
This wheat grass powder made by Amazing Grass is truly what the name says it is.. AMAZING! I actually feel a little hyper after drinking it because it has so many energizing properties to it…organic (so important for a delicate nutrient like wheat grass), and concentrated food source of beta-carotene, calcium, chlorophyll, fiber, iron and vitamin K. It is also a very good source of protein, vitamin C, vitamin B-12, folic acid, vitamin B-6, trace minerals and contains all essential amino acids. I find it to be a great addition to my daily healthy choices!
