We plan on heading out east today to pick some apples straight from the vine! While I love having fresh fare I know that my lunch options will be limited. So I like to plan ahead and pack a tasty lunch I can feel good about eating. My Super Veggie Tuna is what’s on the menu this time around.
Recipe type: Lunch
2 cans of Wild Planet Wild Skipjack Light Tuna*
1 celery stalk
½ medium red onion
2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon vinegar
A pinch of cinnamon, trust me it adds a nice layer of flavor
Wash your vegetables under cool running water and peel the carrot if desired. Chop vegetables and place into a medium bowl.
Open tuna cans and drain the liquid into your sink. Add the tuna to the bowl of chopped vegetables.
Add remaining ingredients and until ingredients are well combined.
Serve and enjoy or refrigerate your awesome tuna salad immediately!
