Crunchy, full of flavor and, smothered in spice – this easy to make snack is a perfect easy-to-reach afternoon pick me up. This recipe is high in protein and low in carbohydrates, get cooking!

1 Large Can of Organic Chickpeas
½ Tsp. of Cinnamon
1 Tbs. of Honey
Pinch of Nutmeg
Pinch of Sea Salt Flakes
1 Tsp. of Organic Coconut Oil
Pre-heat your oven onto 370F.
Drain the chick peas in a sieve and lay them on to a baking tray lined with baking paper, making sure they are evenly spaced.
Bake for around 45-50 minutes.
Whilst the chick peas are in the oven, mix the honey, cinnamon and nutmeg into a bowl.
In the last 5 minutes heat up the coconut oil in a saucepan + add to the bowl full of ingredients.
Do the all-important taste test – we need the chickpeas to be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Once baked, throw the chickpeas into the bowl and stir – ensuring that the chickpeas are evenly covered in spice!
