These GF Snack Bites are truly the perfect snack. You can easily take them on the road, or use them as a quick afternoon pick-me-up snack. They’re filled with protein and beauty benefits too! We made double batches, because we couldn’t get enough of them!
Recipe type: Snack
1 cup nuts (pecans & almonds)
½ cup raisins & apricots (mixed)
¼ cup GF oats
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla
3 tsp vanilla almond milk (unsweetened)
¼ cup mini chocolate chips
Raw Cacao for coating
In a blender, mix together the nuts, raisins, chocolate chips, GF oats, cinnamon & vanilla.
Blend until it forms a “wet sand” consistency.
Pour the mixture into a medium bowl & add the milk.
Using your hands, mix the mixture really well.
Roll the mixture into little balls and then coat them in the cacao.
Place the finished balls in the freezer for 20 min.
We really enjoy making AND eating these. They take absolutely no time to make and they’re ready to eat within 20 min! Don’t be afraid to get your kids involved. We guarantee they’ll not only make them with you, but they’ll love them too.
*If you don’t want to use Raw Cacao, use coconut as a coating.
