I’m a huge fan of natural, organic products, but sometimes they come with a little extra effort. Coconut oil is a perfect example: it is so versatile and effective but in order to be used as a body lotion it needs to be warmed and liquified. In the essence of time, I often have to skip using coconut oil as my all-over body lotion.
Thus the reason I have fallen for AnneMarie Gianni’s Coconut Body Oil ($29.99). It’s in a beautiful glass bottle, with a nice little pump that lets me pump out my exact desired amount. It rubs on smoothly and perfectly from head to toe. I love that it keeps me moisturized all day and I was particularly impressed by its effectiveness after my skin needed extra TLC from a sunny caribbean holiday.
The other aspect I love is that I don’t need to use a lot of it to get the job done. One or two pumps covers all of me, so the bottle has lasted for quite some time. (2 mos +). One disclaimer I have is that I do not recommend using it when about to get dressed in a fancy outfit, as the oil may leave a stain on clothing.
The other ingredients in this bottle are aloe, olive oil, vitamin E, lavendar oil and infused grapeseed oil. It must be the combination of these ingredients that helps it go on so smoothly and absorb so well. While the site does say the bottle may solidify in cold temperatures I have not had that issue.
It doesn’t get much more toxin free, low body burden than a product like this. I love this skincare company for their commitment to pure ingredients and their ability to solve for many a beauty problem!
