A smoothie packed full of fruits and a touch of spice – this recipe is an incredibly delicious way of combining fruits that are seasonally available in the fall months! The Best of Fall Smoothie is amazing to drink at breakfast or a perfect way to recharge our bodies with nutrients after an intense winter workout!
Recipe type: Smoothie, Vegan,
1 Apple (chopped into 4)
1 Carrot (peeled and chopped)
1 Plum (chopped and stone removed)
300ml of Almond Milk
2tsp of Cinnamon
Place all of the fruit into the food processer and blend.
Pour in the almond milk and blend until smooth.
Serve in a glass or if you’re on the run, serve in a sealable mason jar and enjoy!
If you’re not a fan of ‘bits’ in your drinks then peeling the plum and the apple before blending will ensure that your smoothie is super smooth. I like to blend the fruits without peeling as you retain as much fiber as possible – and – the blended dark fruit skins look pretty against the light smoothie!
