Summer is around the corner and we always have to think about protecting our skin from damage that can lead to wrinkles and skin cancer. Did you know you could protect your skin from the inside out by choosing the right foods? This smoothie is filled with vitamins and minerals that can protect us from sun damage and builds healthy cells leading to healthy, younger looking skin. So drink up and slather on that sunscreen before enjoying a day of fun in the sun!
Recipe type: Smoothie
1 cup low fat milk
1 cup strawberries
2 handfuls of spinach
2 tbsp flaxseed
2 brazil nuts
ice (not needed if you are using frozen fruit)
Add ice, strawberries, kiwi, spinach, flaxseed, and nuts to your blender.
Slowly pour in your milk.
Blend until ingredients are pureed.
Pour out and enjoy!
